Rich Alex is an abstract painter who lives and works in Reston, Virginia. Rich grew up and lived in Northern Virginia most of his life. He graduated from West Springfield High School and went off to study Liberal Arts at Virginia Tech. After graduating Rich reluctantly went into the finance world and was blessed with success. However, his desire has always been to make art his profession. He currently co-owns a self-serve car wash business in Leesburg, VA.
Rich is very passionate about art and helping artist in any way possible. He comes from a family of terrific artists, his mother being the most influential. Rich’s distinctive art style emanates joy, peace, happiness and in some cases darkness. Art has always been a part of Rich’s life. He is always encouraging his friends and others to pursue their dreams, whether it’s acting, singing, writing, etc. He says, “Everyone is great at something, they just have to figure out what that is, be passionate about it and go after it. My passion is art and I feel like it has a purpose. I hope people can see that and enjoy it!”
